Wisdom Mirror of the Enneagram

Wisdom Mirror of the Enneagram

Seeing Through the Structure of Ego

You can only see who you are not from who you Are!

Drawing from the unequaled support of the Enneagram of liberation as taught by Eli Jaxon-Bear (distinct from the more popular Enneagram of personality), you have the unique opportunity to see all the way through the illusion of who you are not and experience your true Self.

While all nine points are included within all of us, there is one that is our core survival mechanism. The complexities, inconsistencies, and conflicts we experience as human beings connect through the ways we move or lean into the other points in a state of stress or relaxation. These movements are unconscious, automatic, often hidden from view, and left unexamined until we are ready to welcome them into the light of our awareness.

Your liberation is realized, not in endless searching for why you suffer, but in closely examining how you cause unnecessary suffering for yourself and others.

We began this year with exploring the body/anger types; the Nine, Eight, and One. Next, the emotional/hysteria and neediness types; the Three, Two, and Four. And, concluding with the mental/fear and doubt types; the Six, Seven, and Five.

Through the direct and skillful means of Self-inquiry, guided meditation, and conversations of discovery, on Dec 9, the "5" egoic fixation, the interiorized fear point, will be our focus of inquiry.

The essence of the five fixation is peace. "I know" is the five's idealization. Deeply sensitive to the outside world, isolation is the defensive movement away. Hiding behind the avarice of knowledge, the five withdraws, falling into the trap of observation to protect themselves from the fear of emotional invasion.

In the willingness to open to the softer feelings of vulnerability and intimacy, the possibility for awakening to your existence as true peace is realized.

REMEMBER: You are not a number in a system. The living truth of who you are is simple… Open… Empty… Love. These meetings are designed not to teach, fix, or learn how to invent or reinvent a better version of yourself. We meet with innocent curiosity in mutual exploration to recognize and see all the way through what stops you from realizing your true Self; to wake up and be free!
